Personal and Business Tax Consulting
Many, if not most, personal and business decisions involving significant sums of money are primarily motivated by tax considerations. Questions I'm asked often include:
Should I incorporate my business?; What type of entity should I use to operate my business?; Should I use an S corporation or a C corporation?
What is the tax-favored way to expand my business?
How should I structure the sale of all or part of my business?
Should I buy or lease my business car?
Should I sell my second home or should I rent it out?
Should I open a regular IRA account or a Roth IRA account?
These and most other tax questions do not have a "one size fits all" solution. They must be approached on a client-by-client basis. I make every effort to really "know" my clients and understand their businesses. Only in that way can I present appropriate alternatives for them to consider and assist them in making educated and proper decisions based on those alternatives.
